Every Cloud Innovics hosting plan includes automatic daily backups at no extra cost. This page explains what that means in practice, how long copies are kept, and what to do when you need something restored.

What You Get

• Included on every plan. Starter, Growth and Enterprise all include backups, with no add-on fee.
• Rolling 30-day retention. Recent daily copies are kept for a rolling 30 days, so you can go back to an earlier day, not just yesterday.

Why This Is Different From a File on One Computer

A company file on a single office computer depends on that machine staying powered, healthy and safe. A failed drive, a theft, a ransomware attack or a flooded server room can take the file and any backup stored next to it. A hosted environment does not depend on one machine, and the backups are managed for you rather than left to whoever remembers.

How to Ask for a Restore

1. Contact our support team, or call 1-800-661-5186.
2. Tell us what needs restoring (a company file, a folder, a single document) and when it was last correct, such as “Tuesday morning before the import”.
3. Do not keep working in the damaged file. Further changes can make it harder to choose the right restore point.
4. Check the restored file before you carry on, and tell us if it is not the version you wanted.

Limits to Know About

• Time matters. Because copies are kept on a rolling basis, something deleted or damaged long ago may be outside the retention window. Report problems quickly.
• A backup restores the past, not mistakes you have not noticed. If a bad entry went in weeks ago, an old backup also contains it. Reviewing your books regularly is still your job.
• Keep your own copy of critical files. For large changes, such as year-end close, it is sensible to make a QuickBooks backup yourself before you start.
